ERM advised TASE-listed Israir Airlines and Tourism, on its acquisition of 25% of the shares of BROWN HOTELS GREECE. This is the first major entrance by an Israeli airline operator into the international hotels and hospitality sector.

ERM Advised Balirom on its acquisition (60%, with an option of acquiring the remainder in 4 years) by TASE-listed Turpaz Industries Ltd. – a major supplier of food flavors and spice mixtures to the food industry.

ERM Advised MEKOROT® on its NIS 500 million international detailed design tender, and on the selection of local and international design firms to execute the company’s reform for the development of water supplies and transportation throughout the country. This is one of Mekorot’s first tenders on an international scale, designed to attract international bidders, which required extensive legal support and advice on every stage of the tender process.

ERM advised WhiteSource on its acquisitions of Germany and Switzerland-based Xanitizer and Croatia-based Defensecode, and their respective international operations. These acquisitions will serve to accelerate WhiteSource’s static application security testing (SAST) solution.

ERM advised Mivne Group, in the acquisition of 24 real estate assets from Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank. This huge transaction was valued at over NIS 530m, and covered assets scattered around Israel, which will be developed for a range of real estate projects – both commercial and residential.

ERM advised Eshkol Investments and Financing Ltd on their 310,000,000 NIS funding of the Sea Tower Bat Yam purchasing group. As well as refinancing a bridge loan, the funds will be used to fund the construction of the project expected to be completed in the next 3 years.

The transaction also saw Eshkol’s first significant collaboration with institutional investors, with a sizeable proportion of the funds coming from the More Investment House and More Provident Fund.
