Fresenius Medical Care Ventures, the venture capital unit of Fresenius Medical Care, has invested $2 million in the Series B financing round for Vectorious Medical Technologies (“Vectorious”).

ERM has represented Kape Technologies PLC, Teddy’s Sagi cyber security company, on its USD 16 million acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Neutral Holdings Ltd trading as Intego (“Intego”), a leading Mac and iOS cybersecurity and malware protection SaaS business.

ERM has represented Maverick Ventures in the sale of Precog to the German company Samson. Maverick Ventures is the sole investor in Precog.

ERM has acted for the second fund of Maverick Ventures (Israel) II LP in a Series B investment round in Orasis Pharmaceuticals. Maverick Ventures co invested along with Sequoia Capital, Visionary Venture Fund, SBI JI Innovation, LIFESCI 100 Plus Management Partnerships. Orasis pharmaceuticals raised in total approximately $13,000,000 million.

ERM has represented Access Point Fund (formerly TFRG) in a NIS 45million loan agreement to Effi Capital for the construction of a multipurpose real estate project at Bet-Shemesh. The project will include 300 residential units and commercial units. The fund will provide 80-85% of the shareholders’ equity that will be required to purchase the rights in the land from the Israel Land Authority and to execute the project.

Gilad Maoz and Erez Gurion, partners in our real estate, urban renewal and Hotels  department led the team that included associate Roni Shema-Rimon and Yaara Libay (Trainee).

ERM represented The Mivneh Group in the sale of a NIS 11 million commercial asset at the Atarot Industrial Zone in Jerusalem. This is the 5th  deal in which ERM represents The Mivneh Group this year.

Erez Gurion, partner in the Real Estate and Urban Renewal practice at ERM, led the team that included Naama Irony (Associate) and Zvi Zavner (Trainee).

ERM has acted for Mishkei Renewable Energies, the renewable energy arm of the Kibbutzim Organisation (one of Israel’s strongest energy players) for the construction, operation and financing of power plants in Kibbutz Ein Tzorim and Tarabin, a Bedouin settlement. The cooperation with Clal Insurance, who acted as lender on the NIS 100 million loan for the project, is expected to continue for future projects that shall be constructed within the competitive process published by The Electricity Authority.

ERM is proud to have represented Karamba Security in a $USD 10 million debt funding from Silicon Valley based venture debt firm – Western Technology Investment (WTI). This brings the total investment in Karamba Security to $27 million.

ERM has represented Karamba Security since its incorporation in 2016. Karamba Security is widely regarded to be one of Israel’s most promising startups, with innovative cyber security products geared toward the automotive, medical devices and IoT industries.
